Can my piece go in the dishwasher?

Yes, all work is dishwasher safe however hand-washing is recommended to ensure the beauty of the glaze lasts as long as possible and to reduce risk of cracks and prevent anything falling on your artwork (take extra precaution with mugs with handles in the dishwasher)!

*Do not remove something from a hot dishwasher and immediately place something cold on your piece as this can cause thermal shock (the drastic change from hot to cold or cold to hot temperatures) and increase the risk of cracks as your pieces are most fragile when they are hot.

Can my piece go in the microwave/oven?

Yes. However, as with the dishwasher, it is not recommended. If you do wish to, it is very important to not place your hot piece on a cool surface as this can also cause thermal shock which can create cracks or even break your piece.
